Pragati Jubaka Sangha (PJS) as a pro-poor, non-profit making organization has been relentlessly working with a vision of facilitating a society where the poor, deprived, under-privileged and the marginalized people and communities are able to lead a self-reliant and dignified life in a transparent, gender sensitive, accountable and democratic societal environment.

1. We are proactively working for children in need of care and protection. In this regard we are conducting outreach awareness programme on child rights, child related issues like child marriage, child labor and child sexual abuse in school and communities. We are also rescuing children in need of care and protection and linking them with Government services. We are identifying single parent and orphan children who have lost their parents in covid19 and extending support to them in terms food, cloth, education kits for their survival and development. Apart from these we have formed about 100 child clubs in different inaccessible villages to promote child rights.

1. We are working on WASH promotion. In this regard we are conducting capacity building training , awareness campaign in villages on safe drinking water, safe sanitation and improved hygiene practices, installation of toilet in school and community, hand washing points, accessible toilet facilities for persons with disabilities, hygiene education programme in schools, Menstrual hygiene management programme and installation of incinerator for disposal of sanitary napkin

1. We are actively working for promotion of rights of persons with disabilities. In this regard PJS is organizing orientation workshop on Rights of Persons With Disabilities Act 2016, formation and strengthening of Persons with disabilities forum in 15 district. Formation of SHGs of PWDs, conducting access audit of public buildings including WASH infrastructure in schools and community, designing of model accessible water points and Toilet for persons with disabilities, organising special camps for Persons with disabilities.
